He is a member of the American Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. His primary areas of focus are medical malpractice and personal injury.

Jeremy is an avid golfer with additional interests in saltwater fishing, snow skiing/boarding and surfing. He is married to Virginia Startsman McDonald, who is licensed to practice law in the State of South Carolina.
